A new event type for us, a hack morning!

We'll be meeting at 10am at MadLab, and hacking away until 2pm.

This is the same day as the restarting of ManLUG, which is also running at MadLab, starting at 2pm, so those that want to attend can do after the Hack Morning.

So bring your friends, toys, gadgets, arduinos, laptops and soldering irons, and let's build some cool stuff!

This is an open meeting, and free to attend, so bring along anyone who fancies having a play.

As far as food and drink goes, you can bring your own drinks, and there is also an honesty bar if you forget. (Take a drink, give a donation of the amount you think its worth)

For this meeting we'll be once again meeting at The Bull's Head pub, in Manchester City Center.

For this meeting we'll be once again meeting at The Bull's Head pub, in Manchester City Center.

Janey has just contacted me informing me that theres a last-minute problem with access to the factory tomorrow night.. there isnt any access!

So, We'll have to move the meeting to a nearby pub. The Bull's Head[1] is nearby, and has been recommended as a Good Pub (tm), so (unless anyone has any major objections) we'll meet there.

For this meeting we'll be at Factory 2010, in Manchester City Center!

We will be using this meeting to start work at & introduce people to the new space, including clearing out the junk, measuring up the rooms, and planning out where we will want workbenches, power, storage etc. Once we are happy with the space, we'll retire to a nearby pub for drinks!

Finding the Factory

The Building's Address is Measurement House, Bond Street, Manchester, M12 6HN. It sits on the Mancunian Way, is a 5 minute walk from piccadilly train station, 10 minutes from piccadilly gardens. The factory is very easy to spot at night, as it has a large red LED sign in the window with Child Support UK scrolling on it.
